Our flagship show, the annual Renaissance in Pastel Exhibition, is generally held in the fall at different excellent galleries across Connecticut. All pastelists, members or not, are invited to submit one to three digital images through our online entry system for this exhibition. Entries are juried for entry by a jury panel of three award-winning pastelists, with a limit of one piece per artist accepted. Once paintings are delivered and the show is hung, awards are determined by two Awards Judges. We hold an opening reception at which awards are announced and distributed. CPS presents a pastel demonstration or an informative gallery tour during the show.
Please see our Exhibition Guidelines before entering any of our exhibitions.
