CPS Workshops

Each year, CPS offers educational workshops taught by nationally recognized artists from across the country.  Due to the caliber of our professional instructors, students register in advance for our workshops.

The focus is on providing opportunities for our fellow artists to further develop their skill level in the medium of pastel.  CPS sponsors instructors who offer a diverse variety of content and are generally suitable for any level of expertise.  Workshops are an excellent opportunity to enjoy the comradery of people who share an appreciation of the pastel medium and to learn new techniques from an admired instructor.

Workshops are held in differing locations in Connecticut depending on the nature of the workshop.  Click on the buttons below to read the information about our exciting upcoming workshops!

The 2017 workshop schedule now includes

Margaret Dyer – The Figure In Pastels
Alain J. Picard – The Painterly Portrait
Deborah Quinn Munson – The Importance of Composition
